I was born on April 12th, 1995, a Wednesday. For the first day of my life, I was known as Baby Poorman, because my parents could not agree on a name for me. Their choices? Katelyn or Jenny. My mom wanted Katelyn because it was beautiful, like I apparently was. My father wanted Jenny because it was a name of a plane. What name did I get stuck with after a day? Jennifer Olivia. My first name being the formal version of Jenny, and it also means ‘White Wave’ or ‘Fair Phantom’. My middle name, Olivia, sounds like it starts with an ‘A’, but no, it’s an O. It means ‘Elf Army’. If you put the meanings together, it happens to sound like some sort of Army Troop, called White Wave Elf Army. So, now, I shall introduce myself.

Jennifer Olivia Poorman ;

I usually go by Jenn or Jenny, but I don’t care what you call me. I’m sixteen years old and a junior in high school. I live in a small town in Indiana, surrounded by fields. I’m single. I’m really short but I have a lot of muscle. I have a brother who is in the Air Force; he’s my hero. I’m usually shy and quiet, but if you get to know me, I’m pretty fun and easy to hang around with. I never expect much and I doubt a lot of things.

I’m a Classics major; it deals with Greek and Roman mythology. I hope to major in Psychology and Egyptology as well, later in life. I want to be a professor by the end of my education.

I like Adam Lambert, Demi Lovato, James Durbin, and Between The Trees. I read a lot. My favorite books are Vampire Academy series and The Hunger Games. I play soccer and dance. I’ve danced for 11 years. My favorite movies would be Harry Potter, Remember Me, and Star Wars. I consider myself a ‘Sith lord.’ I really like chocolate chip pancakes. I support gay marriage, even though I’m considered a Christian. 

My past has been rough. I was bullied throughout middle school and did many things that I regret. I lost myself; I self-harmed often.. The main reason I absolutely adore Adam Lambertis because he taught me to not care what people think about you and that it gets better. I’ve saved friends from going down the same road. If anyone needs someone to talk to, I’m always around.
